After ‘L’Equipe’ reported that Mbappe will not sign a new contract with PSG, daily ‘Marca’ highlighted that those in Paris have no intentions of letting him go.
It appears that they won’t listen to proposals, nor will they allow a transfer to go ahead, and they will simply wait for his contract to terminate in June 2022.
Day after day new information emerges about the future of Kylian Mbappe. ‘L’Equipe’ reported that the French starlet will not sign a new contract with the club and will thus become a free agent in 2022.
It appears that Mbappe himself informed a number of his Paris-Saint Germain teammates that he would not renew his contract, but that he would respect the last year of his current deal at the Parque des Princes. This is a step that the attacker was expected to make since a few months ago, but it looks like those at the club aren’t going to allow him too much room to manouvre.
That is after reports from ‘Marca’ stated that PSG have clarified in the last few hours that they will not allow Mbappe to be sold. They won’t listen to a proposal from any club and will limit themselves to wait patiently until his contract comes to an end next summer.
According to the aforementioned source, Nasser Al-Kheliaifi has made it clear that sooner or later Mbappe will sit down to negotiate with the club over an amicable termination agreement that will allow him to leave Paris in the best way possible
Real Madrid, for their part, have put the brakes on any other potential transfer this summer, as the club’s only goal is securing Mbappe’s signing in this current transfer window. They intend to do everything in their power to bring him to the club.
